Robotics From Zero

Terms of Use

Last updated: March 2026

The basics

Robotics From Zero is a free educational platform. By using the site, you agree to these terms. They are straightforward.

Content license

All lesson content, blog posts, and educational materials on this site are licensed under the Apache License 2.0. You are free to use, share, and adapt the content with proper attribution.

Your account

  • You are responsible for your account security.
  • Don't share accounts or create multiple accounts for the same person.
  • We can suspend accounts that abuse the platform (spam, harassment, automated abuse).

User-generated content

Comments and challenge submissions are your content. By posting comments, you grant us a license to display them on the site. Keep comments constructive and relevant. We can remove comments that are spam, abusive, or off-topic.

Playground and code execution

Code you write in the playground runs in your browser via Pyodide (WebAssembly). We do not execute your code on our servers. Challenge submissions record your score and completion time but not the full source code unless you explicitly submit it.

No guarantees

The site is provided as-is. We do our best to keep content accurate and the platform running, but we don't guarantee uptime, accuracy of all technical content, or that robots you build following our lessons won't crash into walls. Test your code in simulation before running it on hardware.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
